We needed something fast for dinner the other day, and saw one of your "Chicken Pies", and decided to try it out. It was great! It exceeded our expectations, and we were very impressed with the flavor. We've purchased several more since then. It's now a family favorite...

I just had the most amazing chicken pie EVER. A 36 ounce Fully Baked White Meat Chicken Pie (not frozen - in the meat section by the processed chicken products). I can't believe how good this was. I bought it when I saw it on sale at Stop and Shop in New York. I don't care about sale prices on this anymore. I will gladly pay full price for this meal. Chunky moist chicken, crispy peas and carrots and the most delicious gravy. And the crust is so amazing. No one can make a better homemade pie like this. Save your time and effort and just buy this one...

Mrs. Budd’s chicken pies are the best I’ve ever had. There’s a chain of stores in Massachusetts, and maybe even beyond MA, called Harrow’s Chicken Pies. Yes they are good but, for my money and my tastes, Mrs. Budd’s outdoes Harrow’s in taste. Good amount of chicken and vegetables. The consistency of the broth is perfect. I love serving over a bed of rice. I go for the 36 oz package. Depending on appetite, could serve two people. There is a larger size Mrs. Budd’s chicken pie, perhaps 54 oz. I tend to stay away from those. I think there is some quality that is sacrificed in the bigger size. But the 36 oz is perfect!!!

Best chicken pot pie ever. Can't be prepared any better for less than what is charged for the amount of food you get. I just messaged Budd Foods to ask them to try to get the pies in the Walmart in Lexington, NC. I will drive 30 minutes to pick up 3-4 so I can have them in the freezer.

My wife and I love these pies. We both worked at Budd Foods in Manchester (met there, and married while still working there) back when Iriving Budd was still the owner. We just found these pies in our local Walmart here in Ohio. We are excited to see the great tasting pies again, we bought all they had left in stock. I can say I loved the ultimate pie (used to be known as Fancy Vegatable when we worked there) however not available around here. Had an all white meat pie tonight and was not disappointed in the least (except for being 28oz not 36 oz around here) still the great tasting crust and filling as it was back in the 80's and 90's. I wish Budd Foods still made the chili, cherry pies, and the apple pies we used to make when we worked there. Irving was a genius at developing recipes, (his chili was awesome). I worked closely with him on his chili and fruit pies. Great pies still, keep up the great taste!

Bought our first chicken pie at Walmart a few years ago, and it was delicious and almost as good as my grandmother's pie with ingredients from her garden and chicken coop. After WM no longer had it, we tried other brands that could not compare. Our local Lowes grocery began carrying the best store-bought chicken pie recently, and we have already baked and eaten 3 of them, and our neighbors are now hooked on Mrs. Buddy, too.

My family have been eating Mrs Budds for as long as I can remember. They are awesome. I like the white meat pies but my family likes the breast and thighs pie better so I have to buy 2 every time I go shopping.
